"Gehra Zakham" is the story of Shibbu during whose childhood misunderstandings led to the unfortunate demise of his mother, the other responsible for this tragic occurrence, Makrani and his gang, are now the target of Shibbu's anger, the sole aim being to bring them to book.

"Gehra Zakham" is the story of Vijay, and his mechanic friend who inspite of their moderate dwelling, dreamt of riches and success. Vijay's prime intention is to break the shackles of poverty and attain a respectable position in life.

"Gehra Zakham" is the story of beautiful Shabnam, who inspite of all her riches; is lonely at heart. She longs for one who freely loves her but not her wealth.

Three persons with their own high ambitions, meet somewhere in the whirlpool of life and the new story begins. While rescuing  a helpless lady from her attackers Vijay finds himself framed for a murder he didn't commit and is thus caught in the midst of a dangerous conspiracy. Shabnam who knew that her beloved was innocent gets out to prove his innocence with the aid of Shibbu and a few hired toughs. 

It suddenly dawns on Shibbu that Shabnam is none other than the girl, who's under the care of his long lost father Mirza and suddenly Shibbu realizes that inspite of being so close to his father, yet so far off from him. With the weight of his mother's death on his mind Shibbu lacks the courage to face his father, who has been longing for him.

Was Shibbu able to shed a life of crime and clear himself of his mother's death? Did Mirza succeed in getting back his lost son?
Who was Kitty and Makrani, who had played these dangerous moves on the chess board of life?
Did they succeed in their wicked moves?
